SOCOTEC Germany adds Pfülb Consulting Engineers to its quiver, expanding its wealth of expertise

| Infrastructure & Energy

On 1 January 2020, ZPP Ingenieure AG acquired Pfülb Consulting Engineers: under a corporate succession plan, 12-strong Regensburg-based Pfülb will be operating as a ZPP branch in the future. This means that SOCOTEC Germany has gained another strategic base and further broadened its portfolio.

For over 30 years, Pfülb has made a name for itself in the marketplace as a specialist for the planning and design of bridge structures. Pfülb also specializes in foundation engineering and open cut-and-cover tunnel construction.

Now ZPP and the other members of SOCOTEC Germany have direct access to another expert partner in these areas. Pfülb’s Bavarian colleagues in Munich and the other ZPP teams throughout Germany will benefit from the synergy created by this acquisition and will collaborate on selected projects. For the international SOCOTEC Group this new acquisition also means a gain in terms of wealth of expertise and strategic service portfolio.
